I purchased a beautiful Movado watch for my wife which she only wore on evenings out or special occasions. Three years later it just quit working. I sent it back to the jewelry store for battery replacement (my assumption) and was SHOCKED when they called me to say that it would cost $340.00 to repair my wife's watch (paid $450.00) for it. I asked why? It was not banged or dropped, what could cost that much? The "movement" in the watch went bad. Expensive to repair. A KNOWN MOVADO PROBLEM. I was not informed of this known problem when I was on the purchasing end. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Movado's warranty is fair and the repair bill can be quite high. Will never buy one again. For an expensive and well known brand, I expected it to last much longer than 3 years. I have had several cheap end watches that have suffered everyday abuse and are still running. Look around, you will find better!

After shopping around and reading people's reviews, I went ahead and made the purchase on Amazon. Not only was the watch half the price on Amazon, but the it also arrived super quick. I ordered it like Tuesday or Wednesday and it came Friday.
The only thing was that it was a little big, so we're gonna have to take it in to take a couple links out. Other than that, this watch is beautiful and my girlfriend loves it.

I bougth this for my wife's birthday and she couldn't be happier with it.
I have a Movado since many years ago and I remembered she said once she wanted one as well... hit the nail in the head with this gift!
It's very classy and she loves it. Got a great payback from her also!
I will agree with other reviews that the photos are a poor representation of the real thing...
Came with the full price tag attached to the band... and I'll never tell her I paid less than half of that!

you can't get any more classier than Movado...well you CAN but that also comes with an added price!! This watch was a steal at this price! Everyone thinks i paid a good 500 something..when the truth is i paid less than half that!! If you're classy, or looking for a gift for that hard to shop for someone, this is for you. Also a great Movado try me piece. This was my first movado purchase from Amazon, but won't be my last.
